Eliet Shredders
An Eliet Shredder can almost be regarded as the generic name for garden and green waste shredders as Eliet are innovators in the concept of mobile garden shredders. Taking the shredder into the garden and working with the natural weakness of the wood means Eliet shredders require less power than conventional chipper type machines and are also easily transportable.
The Eliet shredders operate with an open knife cutting system that works with the grain of the wood to split it like an axe before passing over other knives to produce biochips, that can be reused in situ as garden mulch. This principle is the same from the smallest electric Eliet shredder to the new diesel powered Megaprof Eliet shredder that can process material up to 6” in diameter. Due to the irregular shape of the chips they decompose much faster than regular square chips so giving valuable nutrients back to the soil.
Eliet shredders are designed to be taken into the garden with push, self-propelled and tracked machines they can easily be transported from site to site in a van or on a trailer or if required the larger Eliet shredders are available as conventional roadside machines. The larger Eliet shredders come with automatic feed rollers that regulate material flow to the cutting knives so maintaining a steady flow of material through the accelerator giving an even flow of shredded material from the discharge chute.The larger Super Prof and Megaprof Eliet shredders are available with optional Ecoeye technology to save energy when the machine is not under load.
