COURSE AIM

PSD's ride on mower training provides delegates with hands-on experience and the knowledge to safely operate and maintain ride on mowers, including practical skills and health & safety guidance..

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Our training course will suit you if you are currently using or are looking to be using a Ride­-On operated mower as part of your work.

CERTIFICATION

Upon successful completion of the course delegates will receive a certificate of competence and for LANTRA training an accredited certificate and skills card will be awarded (LANTRA registration fees apply).

AGENDA 

• Identify the risks associated with the use of different types of ride-on mowers
• Select appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Carry out daily checks as indicated in the operator's manual
• Identify the controls and components
• Carry out pre-start checks
• Identify and report any faults
• Adjust the cutting mechanism to achieve the required standard
• Operate the machine in a safe and competent manner
• Perform post-use maintenance
• Loading and transportation of the machine (if appropriate)
